India, Aug. 5 -- Princess Isabella of Denmark has begun her 11-month military service, becoming the first female member of the Danish royal family to complete full military conscription.
The 19-year-old reported for duty at the Antvorskov Barracks in Slagelse on August 3, marking a historic milestone for the Danish monarchy.
Low-key start to military life
Fresh from her summer break, Princess Isabella kept a low profile on her first day, driving herself to the barracks in a black SUV.
