New Delhi, Aug. 23 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with chief executives of Indian space startups on Sunday, highlighting the role of policy support, investor confidence, and private-sector innovation in expanding India's space industry.

During the interaction, Modi said the government's consistent policies aimed at giving entrepreneurs the confidence to take risks and invest in new areas.

The CEOs highlighted developments across India's private space sector, including launch vehicles, satellite propulsion, in-space manufacturing, orbital servicing, and space-based agriculture applications.

The company has already established three factories and aims eventually to conduct one launch a week and multiple launches a day.
