India, Sept. 27 -- Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal has said that as global markets open up to India through Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), entrepreneurs in Uttar Pradesh will have greater opportunities to access international markets.

The Minister said Uttar Pradesh currently records annual exports of around Rs.2 lakh crore and has set a target of increasing the figure to Rs.5 lakh crore by 2030.

Addressing the UP International Trade Show in Greater Noida, Goyal said expanding exports, attracting investments and increasing global market access would contribute to Uttar Pradesh's goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy.
