Nashik/IBNS, July 14 -- A family outing in Maharashtra's Nashik district turned into a nightmare after a woman was allegedly sexually harassed by a group of men, who later chased the family for 15 kilometres and attacked them, according to media reports.

Harassment sparks violent attack

According to reports, the trouble began when two men allegedly whistled at and sexually harassed one of the women in the family as they were preparing to leave after spending time at the picnic spot.

When the woman's husband confronted the duo over their behaviour, the situation escalated. The two men were allegedly joined by several others from nearby roadside stalls, who assaulted the family.
