India, May 10 -- Train services from the Quetta region to various parts of Pakistan have been suspended due to "unavoidable circumstances," according to media reports on Sunday.
The disruption left the Jaffar Express, scheduled to depart for Peshawar, unable to leave Quetta. Meanwhile, an incoming Jaffar Express bound for Quetta was redirected back from Jacobabad, reported Dawn News.
Railway authorities told Dawn News that the Bolan Mail operating between Quetta and Karachi has also been suspended.
Train service between Quetta and Chaman has likewise been halted until further notice.
