India, April 14 -- Members from both the opposition and treasury benches in the Balochistan Assembly staged protests over the killing of a man in Quetta, media reports said.
Lawmakers also raised strong objections over the recent killing of two members of the Hazara community, calling for swift action.
According to Dawn News, legislators demanded that the chief minister constitute a committee to carry out an independent investigation and ensure the arrest of those responsible.
Opposition Leader Younas Aziz Zehri said the victim had travelled from Noshki to donate blood and was allegedly shot dead by the police's Eagle Squad.
