India, Aug. 21 -- Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was taken to a hospital following an order from the country's Supreme Court, has been shifted back to prison after undergoing a medical check-up, media reports said on Friday.

Khan was taken to Shifa International Hospital for a medical examination following the apex court's directive. According to local media reports, roads surrounding the hospital were cordoned off ahead of his arrival.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had also urged its supporters not to gather outside the medical facility.
