India, May 18 -- OnePlus has paused the rollout of two recent OxygenOS 16 software updates after several users reported abnormal restart and boot-related issues following installation.

The affected builds include OxygenOS 16.0.7.XXX and OxygenOS 16.0.5.XXX, the company confirmed on its official Community page.

"To ensure device stability and protect user experience, we have immediately paused the rollout of the above-mentioned builds while our engineering team investigates the root cause and prepares a fix," the company said.

OnePlus added that its technical experts are treating the issue with the highest priority.

The company also apologised to affected users for the inconvenience caused.
