No visa for 30 days: Uzbekistan announces major travel move for Indian citizens
India, Aug. 30 -- Uzbekistan on Sunday announced 30-day visa-free entry for Indian citizens following a meeting between visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The announcement came during delegation-level talks between Modi and Mirziyoyev in Tashkent, held as part of the Indian Prime Minister's two-day visit to the Central Asian country.
Sharing details of the new visa regime, the official website of the Uzbek President said, "It was also emphasized that the 30-day visa-free regime and 14 weekly flights between the two countries will contribute to the further development of tourism."
