Kolkata/IBNS, Aug. 29 -- The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has issued a set of guidelines for Durga Puja organisers in West Bengal, urging them to follow traditional religious practices and uphold what it described as the sanctity and dignity of the festival.
The guidelines cover a range of issues, including food around puja venues, the representation of Goddess Durga and other deities, theme-based pandals, religious rituals and idol immersion.
