India, Feb. 25 -- Israeli Prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahu has announced the formation of a new regional alliance aimed at countering Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood, according to media reports.

The announcement was made during an address at a Shin Bet leadership conference, coinciding with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the country.

"Some visit us, even these days. Some - we visit them. I am talking about an entire circle that encompasses the Middle East," he was quoted as saying by The Times of Israel.

On the situation in Gaza, Netanyahu asserted that Hamas must be disarmed. "It will happen the easy way, or it will happen the hard way, but it will happen," he said, underscoring Israel's firm stance on the issue.
