India, June 14 -- French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi not only shared a light moment for a "Nice" selfie beside inaugurating the Bharat Innovates programme, but also held substantive discussions aimed at deepening and diversifying bilateral ties in the fields of economic growth, technology, innovation, talent mobility, and cultural exchanges.

The two leaders held their first bilateral talks since the elevation of India-France relations to a "Special Global Strategic Partnership" earlier this year.

During their meeting at Villa Kerylos in Nice, both leaders engaged in extensive discussions covering a wide range of areas of cooperation.
