India, Sept. 12 -- Sending out a powerful message from the BRICS Summit in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen holding the hands of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin in a symbolic display of the close ties among the three leaders.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto were also seen in images shared by Prime Minister Modi on his official X account.

"BRICS Summit 2026 gets underway in Delhi," Modi wrote while sharing the images.

The leaders have gathered in New Delhi to attend the 18th BRICS Summit, being hosted by India under its 2026 BRICS chairship.
