New Delhi/IBNS, Feb. 25 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday departed for a two-day State visit to Israel at the invitation of his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, with an aim to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across key sectors.
Ahead of his departure, Modi said he looks forward to enhancing collaboration in areas such as science and technology, innovation, agriculture, water management, defence and security, trade and investment, as well as people-to-people ties.
During the visit, Modi is scheduled to meet Israeli President Isaac Herzog and hold discussions on expanding the scope of bilateral engagement.
