Middle East tensions won't dampen India's festive jewellery demand, says CaratLane MD
India, Sept. 9 -- Tata Group-backed jewellery major CaratLane's Managing Director Saumen Bhaumik said the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East are unlikely to impact domestic jewellery sales during India's upcoming festive season.
Speaking to IBNS on the sidelines of the launch of CaratLane's flagship store in Kolkata's Gariahat area, Bhaumik said geopolitical volatility has been a recurring phenomenon and should not be a major concern for India's jewellery market.
