India, May 24 -- After setting the box office ablaze, the biopic Michael on iconic pop legend Michael Jackson is set to continue its story with a sequel.

Lionsgate, the studio behind the film, has officially confirmed that development on a second instalment is underway.

Fogelson added that the creative team has a wealth of material still to explore.
