India, Sept. 16 -- MediaTek, the world's number one provider of mobile chipsets, on Wednesday announced the launch of the Dimensity 9600 Pro, its latest flagship smartphone system-on-chip (SoC).

The flagship SoC marks a major technological milestone by adopting TSMC's new 2nm process node. MediaTek, which was the first company to announce that it had successfully developed a chip using TSMC's 2nm process, said the Dimensity 9600 Pro demonstrates its continued focus on semiconductor innovation.

With next-generation silicon now part of the Dimensity lineup, the Dimensity 9600 Pro is designed to deliver flagship performance and power efficiency while enabling advanced agentic AI experiences.
