Kolkata/IBNS, May 5 -- The recent West Bengal Assembly election results have significantly altered the state's political landscape - the Bharatiya Janata Party secured a decisive victory with 207 seats in the 293-member Assembly, comfortably crossing the majority mark.
In contrast, the All India Trinamool Congress suffered a major setback, winning only 80 seats.
