New Delhi, June 7 -- All India Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee met Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal in the national capital on Sunday, ahead of a key meeting of opposition parties under the INDIA bloc banner.

The meeting comes months after AAP formally distanced itself from the opposition coalition, saying the alliance was limited to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Sharing details of the meeting on X, the Trinamool Congress said Banerjee and Kejriwal held an "extensive discussion on the road ahead" following a warm interaction.
