India, Nov. 7 -- Veteran BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani will enter his 100th year on Sunday, November 8, as the party prepares to mark his 99th birthday with a special religious ceremony and prayers for his long life and good health.

The BJP will organise a hawan and puja at its national headquarters to celebrate the occasion.

Party president Nitin Nabin and Union Minister Piyush Goyal are expected to address the gathering in the presence of Advani's daughter, Pratibha Advani, India Today reported, citing party sources.

The religious ceremony will be followed by a special presentation highlighting Advani's life and political career.
