India, June 17 -- Fresh developments have emerged in the investigation into the alleged mismanagement surrounding Lionel Messi's 'GOAT India Tour' programme at Kolkata's Yuva Bharati Krirangan in December last year, with members of the football icon's team reportedly attributing the chaos to former West Bengal Sports Minister Aroop Biswas.

According to sources within the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate, an adviser who accompanied Messi to India and was present on the field during the event sent an email to Police Commissioner Tripurari Atharv detailing concerns about what transpired at the stadium.
