India, June 27 -- Several Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operatives, including the outfit's deputy chief Saifullah Kasuri, who is known for making provocative remarks against India, were reportedly seen attending the funeral of former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar's brother in Islamabad, according to media reports.

Shahid Akhtar, Shoaib Akhtar's brother, died on June 24.

Besides Kasuri, Inam Ur Rehman, president of the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML), the political front of LeT, was also present at the funeral, India Today reported.

According to the South Asia Terrorism Portal (SATP), Saifullah Kasuri has been identified as the alleged mastermind behind the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
