India, March 22 -- Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Bilal Arif Sarafi was reportedly stabbed and shot dead by his own family members shortly after Eid prayers in Pakistan on Saturday, according to media reports.

The incident is said to have taken place near the Lashkar-e-Taiba headquarters close to Markaz in Muridke, Pakistan.

Several unverified videos circulating online show Sarafi lying injured on the ground after being shot.

According to reports, Sarafi had been associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba since 2005. He is believed to have played a significant role in fundraising activities, facilitating the procurement of weapons, and supporting the group's operations, as per News18.
