India, July 20 -- Larsen & Toubro's (L&T) Metals & Minerals (M&M) business vertical has secured multiple orders from leading domestic metals and mining companies, further strengthening its position as a leading provider of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions across the metals and minerals value chain.

The first order comes from a public sector enterprise and India's largest iron ore producer. As part of its expansion programme to achieve an iron ore production capacity of 100 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) by 2030, the company has awarded L&T Package BE-01C for an 18 MTPA Iron Ore Handling Plant in Chhattisgarh.
