India, Feb. 27 -- The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has named Bengali film actress Koel Mallick and former West Bengal Director General of Police Rajiv Kumar among four candidates nominated for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.

Rajiv Kumar served as the Director General of Police (DGP) of West Bengal from July 2024 until his retirement on January 31, 2026.

The other nominees include former Union Minister Babul Supriyo, who switched from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to the Trinamool Congress, and senior advocate Menaka Guruswamy.
