Kejriwal marches to PM Modi's residence over E20 petrol, alleges 'Trump pressure' behind policy
New Delhi/IBNS, Aug. 4 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday led a march towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence, protesting against the use of E20 petrol, which has become the centre of a nationwide controversy, according to media reports.
Kejriwal, accompanied by around 100 supporters, marched to submit petitions opposing the rollout of E20 fuel.
The former Delhi Chief Minister claimed he submitted petitions signed by 2.33 lakh people who had allegedly suffered due to the use of E20 petrol.
Addressing reporters during the march, Kejriwal alleged that the Centre was promoting E20 petrol under foreign pressure.
E20 is a fuel blend comprising 20 percent ethanol and 80 percent petrol.
