New Delhi/IBNS, April 24 -- In a major political development, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha and six others have resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), triggering a fresh political churn, according to media reports.
Others who switched sides are Harbhajan Singh, Swati Maliwal, Ashok Mittal, Sandeep Pathak, Vikram Sahney and Rajinder Gupta.
Chadha's resignation comes days after he was removed as AAP's Rajya Sabha leader, signalling a deepening rift within the party.
Following his removal, Chadha took to X, questioning whether raising public issues in Parliament had become a "crime".
He further alleged that the party had formally asked the Rajya Sabha Secretariat to restrict his participation....
