Jharkhand scraps recruitment exams amid student protests, orders probe since 2014
India, Aug. 17 -- The Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand government has cancelled all examinations and recruitment processes conducted by Lucknow-based TSR Data Processing Private Limited (TDPL) following weeks of protests by students.
The government has also decided to cancel the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (JSSC CGL) examinations, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said while addressing protesting students on Monday.
'All activities of TDPL should be cancelled'
Announcing the decision, Soren said all results and selections linked to TDPL would be scrapped.
