Kolkata, May 25 -- Delhi Capitals signed off their IPL 2026 campaign in style with a commanding 40-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders at a subdued Eden Gardens, where the home side's playoff hopes had already evaporated before the first ball was bowled.

KL Rahul produced a blistering 60 off just 30 balls, setting the tone for Delhi's imposing 203/5 after KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane opted to field first.

Chasing 204, KKR began with intent but failed to sustain partnerships despite a fighting 63 from captain Rahane. The innings gradually unravelled as Kuldeep Yadav spun a web around the middle order while Lungi Ngidi struck crucial blows with the new ball and at the death.
