New Delhi/IBNS, Sept. 18 -- Long queues were seen outside Apple stores across India as the tech giant's latest iPhone 18 series went on sale in the country on Friday.

Customers can purchase the new models through Apple's online store, retail outlets and authorised sellers.

The first customer to purchase the iPhone 18 in Maharashtra said he had been waiting outside the Apple store for nearly 10-12 hours.

Similar scenes were witnessed in other major cities, with buyers turning up early to get their hands on the latest iPhones.

A buyer from Noida claimed he had been waiting outside the store since 6 am and managed to purchase an iPhone 18 Pro Max.
