India, March 14 -- INS Trikand concluded its port call at Port Louis on March 13, 2026, after participating in the Mauritius National Day celebrations.

The ship took part in the 58th Mauritius National Day Parade on March 12 with a marching contingent, a naval band, and its integral helicopter performing a fly-past at Champ de Mars.

"This is in keeping with the tradition of Indian warships and aircraft participating in Mauritius National Day celebrations," a government statement said.

During the visit, Captain Sachin Kulkarni, Commanding Officer of INS Trikand, met Rampersad Sooroojebally and Anurag Srivastava.
