New Delhi/IBNS, March 28 -- An IndiGo flight carrying 161 passengers made an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on Saturday following an engine failure, media reports said.
All passengers were evacuated safely, and no damage was reported.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot after authorities received information about the emergency at around 10:54 am.
An IndiGo spokesperson, as quoted by NDTV, said, "As a precautionary step and in accordance with standard operating procedures, the pilots requested priority landing, and the aircraft arrived safely in Delhi.
