New Delhi/IBNS, March 10 -- India's largest airline IndiGo has announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer, Pieter Elbers, marking a significant leadership change for the company.
In a regulatory filing on Tuesday, the airline confirmed that Elbers had stepped down from his role and would be relieved from service with immediate effect.
The company stated that its Board of Directors took note of the resignation during a meeting held on March 10, 2026.
Following his departure, Managing Director Rahul Bhatia will assume interim responsibility for managing the airline's affairs until further decisions are made regarding permanent leadership.
