India Women 'A' reach semis as Senior 'B' continue to lead at Asia Cup Bridge
Panaji, June 25 -- India Women's 'A' team stormed into the semifinals of the 5th Asia Cup Bridge Championship after finishing third in the Women's Swiss League standings, while India Senior 'B' continued to lead the Seniors section and remained firmly on course for a last-four berth.
China topped the standings with 127.61 VPs, followed by Indonesia with 108.23 VPs, while Japan finished fourth with 89.14 VPs. All four teams advanced to the knockout semifinals. India Women's 'B' ended their campaign at the bottom of the table with 69.98 VPs.
In the Seniors event, India Senior 'B' maintained their lead after 10 rounds with 126.63 VPs. Australia occupied second place with 115.15 VPs, while Chinese Taipei was third with 110.89 VPs.
