Nisshin/IBNS, Sept. 22 -- India stormed into the Asian Games 2026 women's cricket final with a commanding 114-run victory over Bangladesh in the semi-final on September 20.

Shafali Verma was the star of India's batting effort, smashing a record-breaking 100 off 49 balls, including nine sixes and three fours.

India posted a formidable total before their bowlers dismantled the Bangladesh chase.

Nandani Sharma and Deepti Sharma claimed three wickets each, while Sree Charani took two as Bangladesh were bowled out for 81.

The emphatic victory booked India's place in the gold-medal match against Sri Lanka on September 22.
