India, June 8 -- India's aerospace and defence (A&D) sector is entering a high-growth phase, but execution constraints could emerge as the biggest risk to sustaining momentum, according to a new PwC India study titled 'Accelerating aerospace and defence manufacturing through operational excellence and supply chain resilience'.
The study, authored by PwC India, was released on Monday at the ET Aerospace & Defence Manufacturing Summit 2026, in Bengaluru. The study said the A&D sector is poised to play a catalytic role in India's economic transformation, helping drive the nearly 16-fold expansion in manufacturing needed to realise the country's ambition of $30 trillion economy by 2047.
