India, Sept. 16 -- India on Wednesday strongly rejected the so-called Pakistan-China Boundary Joint Commission, which was operationalised in Islamabad, asserting that Pakistan has no authority to enter into any arrangement concerning territories that India considers to be under its illegal and forcible occupation.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said there is no legally valid boundary between Pakistan and China concerning Indian territory and described the commission as having "no legal basis".

"Pakistan has no locus standi to enter into arrangements concerning Indian territory under its illegal and forcible occupation," it added.
