India, Sept. 2 -- The India-Afghanistan Joint Working Group (JWG) on Trade, Commerce and Investment held a virtual meeting on September 1, 2026, to review issues related to bilateral trade and economic cooperation and discuss measures to further facilitate trade and strengthen commercial engagement between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by officials from India and Afghanistan, including representatives from the commerce and industry sectors, customs and regulatory authorities, and diplomatic missions.
