India, Singapore deepen defence ties with focus on AI, Cyber Security
India, May 29 -- Indian and Singaporean officials explored new avenues to further strengthen their strategic relationship and expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including deeper collaboration between the defence industries of both countries.
The discussions took place during the 16th India-Singapore Defence Policy Dialogue held in Singapore on Thursday. The meeting was attended by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and Singapore's Permanent Secretary (Defence) Joseph Leong.
The two countries also explored ways to enhance cooperation in niche and emerging domains, including cyber security, artificial intelligence, maritime security, unmanned systems and advanced defence technologies.
