India, Australia take defence ties to next level with major security push
India, June 1 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Australian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Richard Marles on Sunday co-chaired the second India-Australia Defence Ministers' Dialogue at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi, reaffirming their commitment to deepening strategic and defence cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.
The two ministers welcomed the significant progress in bilateral ties and reviewed developments since the inaugural edition of the dialogue held on October 9, 2025.
