IAF AN-32 crashes in Assam, bursts into flames during landing
Jorhat/IBNS, June 13 -- An Indian Air Force (IAF) AN-32 transport aircraft crashed and caught fire at the Air Force Station in Assam's Jorhat on Saturday morning, media reports said.
The accident reportedly occurred while the aircraft was attempting to land within the Air Force Station premises.
Fire Erupts After Crash
The crash triggered a fire, prompting emergency response teams to rush to the spot and launch firefighting operations.
Authorities worked to contain the blaze as smoke billowed from the crash site.
