India, June 5 -- Automobile major Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) on Thursday reaffirmed its long-standing partnership with the Government of Tamil Nadu and announced its commitment to position the state as its flagship EV hub in India.

The Tamil Nadu government and HMIL also jointly unveiled an exclusive skill development collaboration aimed at enhancing the global employability of the state's youth. The initiative is scheduled to commence operations in December 2027.

Commenting on the development, Tarun Garg, MD and CEO of HMIL, said the company's initiatives will strengthen Tamil Nadu's leadership in sustainable mobility and automotive manufacturing, while accelerating skill development to build a future-ready workforce.
