India, Sept. 2 -- Tech giant Google is rolling out Google Pics, a new image creation and editing tool that should not be confused with Google Photos or Google Images.

Announcing the launch, Google said Google Pics is an image creation and editing tool from Google Workspace and will roll out over the coming weeks to all Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, as well as most Workspace business customers.

Built on Google's Nano Banana image-generation and editing model, Pics is designed to give users greater control over image creation and editing. The tool can be used to create posters, produce social media content and edit digital illustrations.
