India, March 21 -- India and Bhutan have strengthened bilateral ties in the postal sector, aiming to enhance connectivity, service delivery, and institutional collaboration between their postal administrations.
A major highlight of the engagement is the upcoming launch of the cross-border remittance initiative integrating the Universal Postal Union (UPU) PosTransfer system with Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
The initiative is expected to enable efficient and affordable remittance services between the two countries through postal networks, improving financial connectivity and expanding access to digital remittance services.
