India, April 10 -- A US-based Indian couple, recently laid off from their jobs, have decided to return to India after their American dream hit a roadblock, sparking mixed reactions online.

The woman shared their situation in a Reddit post, revealing that she lost her job in October 2025, while her husband was laid off in a recent round of job cuts by Oracle.

With a strict 60-day deadline to leave the United States approaching, the couple has decided to move back to India by July 2026.
