Kolkata/IBNS, June 4 -- Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee faces fresh trouble as a complaint has been filed against her over controversial remarks she made regarding Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the killing of Bangladeshi student leader Osman Hadi.

The complaint was lodged in Siliguri by advocate Rinky Chatterjee Singh of the Calcutta High Court's Jalpaiguri Circuit Bench.

What Did Mamata Banerjee Say?

During a sit-in protest in central Kolkata on Tuesday, Mamata Banerjee claimed that Amit Shah had contacted her after suspects linked to the killing of Bangladeshi activist Osman Hadi were arrested in West Bengal.

While making the allegation, Banerjee did not directly name Hadi.
