Fresh paper leak rocks India: Maharashtra TET postponed a day before exam, over 4 lakh aspirants affected
Thane/IBNS, June 27 -- Lakhs of candidates preparing to appear for the Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) were left in uncertainty after the examination was postponed following an alleged question paper leak nearly 24 hours before it was scheduled to be held, according to media reports.
The examination was slated to take place on Sunday (June 28) at 1,028 centres across the state.
Around 4.28 lakh aspiring teachers were expected to appear for the eligibility test.
The council is expected to announce a fresh examination date later.
A criminal case has been registered at Bhiwandi Police Station, and an investigation has been launched to trace those responsible for the alleged leak.
