Kolkata, Sept. 26 -- Filmmaker Srijit Mukherji launched the second track from his upcoming period drama Emperor vs Sarat Chandra on Thursday at Jorasanko Thakurbari in Kolkata, the ancestral residence of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore.

Actor Abir Chatterjee noted that while he had visited the landmark socially in the past, working at the site underscored the production's thematic roots in early 20th-century Bengal.

Co-star Tota Roy Choudhury, who portrays titular literary figure Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, called the landmark a central pillar of Bengali cultural heritage and expressed gratitude for staging the release there.
