Kolkata/IBNS, March 7 -- Panic gripped north Kolkata's Paikpara area on Saturday morning after a series of explosions rocked a local club, media reports said.

Fire engines rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control.

No casualties have been reported so far.

The exact cause of the explosions is yet to be ascertained. However, local residents claimed that crude bombs were allegedly stored inside the club room, which may have triggered the blasts.
