Mumbai/IBNS, Aug. 29 -- Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has tested positive for H1N1 swine flu after returning from Ranchi, media reports said.

Emraan was shooting for his upcoming film G9 when he was diagnosed.

Following his diagnosis, the actor has cancelled his upcoming public engagements, including a scheduled tour of Bengaluru.

The actor has also been enjoying the success of Awarapan 2, which has emerged as a strong performer at the box office and marked a successful return for the franchise.

Also starring Disha Patani in the lead, Awarapan 2 is the sequel to Emraan Hashmi's 2007 cult romantic thriller Awarapan.
